Vermicomposting is a method of preparing enriched compost with the use of earthworms. It is one of the easiest methods to recycle agricultural wastes and to produce quality compost. When you put fruits or vegetables into a pit for vermicomposting, the worms will eat the food. The worms will then deposit the worm castings. Those worm castings will be the fertilizer for your garden or plants.
