On the occasion of International Women’s Day, “Woman of Substance Award” a program on women empowerment was organized in the campus of Vision Institute of Technology. The ceremony was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the women guests.
In which women shared their thoughts apart from presenting many programs, in which women became self-reliant by joining employment and taking care of the family as well as giving direction to the society.
In the program, the director of the institution, Major Ramesh Chand, emphasizing on the unity and self-confidence of women, said that women have to move forward for their rights and said that women are not less than anyonein today’s era . He said that the 21st century will be known as the century of women, women are proving themselves in every field.
In the program, the students of the college garnered a lot of applause by giving a spectacular classical dance performance. Apart from this, the women and girls of the society gave presentation of many colorful cultural programs one after the other, gave presentation of other programs including street plays, speeches.
